AAAH the married picture. The best part is lady to the side all "AW THEY'RE SO CUTE." BECAUSE THEY ARE SO. SO CUTE.

I'm totally all up in flannel shirted Danny's business, but only if he wears the wifebeater underneath. Otherwise it shifts over from awesome scruffy studenty hotness to mildly skeevy hairy lumberjackness. Nobody needs a skeevy lumberjack.

I, PERSONALLY, TOTALLY NEED A SKEEVY LUMBERJACK. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AT ALL.

Hngh.

Their spouses are lucky, lucky people.

And did you see the Today show interview where it looks like O'Laughlin and Caan end up staring at each other's lips as Alex says "Yes. We're very fond of each other."?

The concussion thing, drawing from the experience of my friends and family, if it is just a knock to the head (such as something normal as tripping and falling down, or running your head into something) and there aren't signs of anything else wrong, the doctor may decide to allow the kid to go home.

That is awesome, thank you muchly :D

No problem. I had a friend in college who managed to get a concussion every six months. Her doctor was starting to get worried about her but still let her go home with someone staying up with her.

That mildly concussed thing totally happened to me, when I was 7-ish? I was walking by some girl on the swings and she accidentally kicked me in the head when she swung up. So I remembered it hurting, but not that bad. My friend took one look at me afterwards and dragged me to the teacher who then called my parents. Apparently her shoe left this scrapped on the side of my head along with some colourful brusing. My parents took me to our family doctor who didn't seem overly concerned but told my parents to wake me up every couple of hours during the night just in case. I remembered being really annoyed that they kept waking me up.

So I hope that was helpful.

Oh my god, so fucking helpful, thank you so much, and I am very sorry that happened to you, bb. Do you happen to remember if you were like...in control of your thoughts/speech patterns, that kind of thing? Someone mentioned nonsensical babbling, did you do that?

AHH SERIOUSLY THANK YOU SO MUCH

I may have kept asking why we were going to the doctors and maybe why they kept waking me up. I don't really remember much of the little details. Can't tell if that was 'cause this happened 15 years ago or 'cause I got kicked in the head, lol.

I feel like I should know more aout concussions given the number of times people I know have had them. (soccer is not nice to people. at all.)

but I don't really remember. i know you usually go to the doctor, and if it's really mild, they're just like, "well, make sure they don't fall asleep and die, and also they might puke, so you should make sure that they aren't sleeping on their backs and choking on it. See you in the morning if they're still babbling nonsense" <---the jist of what I remember. It was six years ago, okay? And also for a 20 year old.

/not helpful.

also, plaid. plaid is funny to me. One of my friends has a coupl of very ugly plaid shirts, one which I refer to as the Lumber Jack shirt and the other one which just causes me to gag and forget that I know him to help defend against the ugly that is happening. I do not have anything against plaid, though, because I am wearing it right now. Flannel is awesome, just saying.

I LOVE ME SOME PLAID, NGL.

Nonsense babbling, does this occur? Inquiring minds, etc.

well, it wasn't entirely nonsense, just-- kind of babbling. not very coherently. She was definitely out of it, and really really tired, and not thinking the greatest.

BUT DO YOU LOVE PLAID WHEN IT IS YELLOW AND ORANGE AND BLACK AND REALLY LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE PUKED AFTER BINGING ON REESE'S PIECES?
