My Latin is kind of limited to everything ever mentioned in Astérix comics + an assortment of phrases meant to convey pretentiousness as taught by my mother the MD to me, because then "[I] can trump the other MDs' kids at conferences" + some random shit where I had to translate from Greek and only had a Latin translation available as help.

My Latin was once passably decent, but I'm out of practice like WHOA. It is still better than Burro's grip on Greek, which is basically "These are the letters of my fraternity, that's all I need to know, right?"
To be fair, he speaks fluent Spanish and passable Chinese, so he totally has me beat in everything but the classics.

My Greek is atrophying so fast it's not even funny anymore. I feel the vague need to read some plays to freshen it up, but I don't actually want to. A part of me is going "Ha ha, IN YOUR FACE, sadistic Greek teacher of my misspent youth!"
What I really want to do is improve my Japanese. And possibly my Danish. Learn some new languages! I'm dying to learn Farsi, and Arabic, and Korean!
NOT ENOUGH BRAINSPACE/HOURS IN THE DAY.
