I keep on saying that I am not in Merlin fandom at all (aside from the two week fling I had with it when it first came out), but then people keep asking me "well, have you read this fic? or this one? or this one?" and I am forced to admit that yes, I have read all of those Merlin fics, and then I am given a long, hard stare that I writhe under like a pinned moth.

found the fic with fratboy!arthur, but it seems that someone was quicker than me. while looking for it i went through my delicious bookmarks and i saw ALL THOSE FIC and i don't remember MOST OF THEM and i would gladly read them again but I CAN'T (also, even if i could, i'd need a second life or a time-turner

jsnfsdf the thing about me is, once I've fallen in love with a show I have absolutely NO self control about writing fic (as evidenced by the 17K of Veronica Mars fic sitting on my hard drive right now, *weeps*), and I just know I'd fall in love with that show. Pretty boys! With British accents! And history! The only way to stay safe is to avoid watching it at all.

In all honesty, what will probably happen is I'll watch it all after it ends and *then* write fic, which is less like showing up late to the party and more like showing up the next morning and being like HEY, I SEE YOU ARE ALL HUNGOVER, I WILL MAKE FOR YOU SOME GREASY BREAKFAST. It's just better for everyone.

pretty boys with british accent, YES. history... well, history in merlin is something that's treated very lightly :D (thing that no fan of merlin should ever do: watch it with SERIOUS HISTORIANS. did that once and all i heard was: BUT THEY DIDN'T CLAP BACK THEN. THEY DIDN'T HAVE SANDWICHES. A TOMATO, HAHAHA, THERE WERE NO TOMATOS IN THIS CENTURY because it's obviously a series that's all about historical accuracy, duh). it is a lovely show though even with this HORRIBLE CLAPPING during tournaments, srsly, what a nightmare and i admit i had doubts at first, but then my friend started watching it and then my sister and then it just happend, i was IN LOVE (we even did a picspam-recap of season one with blond merlin, but we had to make do. that's merlin/morgana and arthur/morgana btw :D FUN TIMES) and i love merlin fandom, fic are just so great and it's like the only fandom where i feel comfortable as a writer. soo merlin ♥ long story short, i kind of can't wait to read your merlin fic and the 'writing after it ends' is a brilliant idea (

I am very excited re: VMars. Ever since you mentioned it for the first time I have been reminded of how much I like it.
