This news make my heart weep. Like that time "Hungry Like the Wolf" came on the radio and I started humming along and my bff asked me if I knew it and I said "Sure! It's Hungry Like the Wolf! :D" and she looked at me funny and said "Is it by one of your bands?" (where your bands means unknown in Italy. That includes pretty much anything American and not Taylor Swift btw) and I was all "DDD: It's Duran Duran!" and at that point her sister chimed in with "Never heard of them. Is it a brand new band?". To say I was appalled would be putting it lightly. Very lightly.

It's Phil Lesh and Bob Weir ~together again~, and they've got this guy named John Kadlecik, also known as The Jerry Guy from DSO, filling in for Jerry, and he's just. He's fucking excellent. They are fucking excellent, I've seen them three times and it's been un-fucking-believable every time.
