I FAIL AT FINISHING FICS THIS WEEK. But I promise you guys something will be up soon :D

In the meantime, I am taking the "post a poem" business to mean "post a poetry spam!" Three brilliant pieces and a couple of my attempts under the cut--that last largely because I feel guilty for posting next to nothing of my own this week.

Wow, I read all these and thought 'The last two are the best! Why hasn't gyzym written her thoughts about those ones?' and then scrolled back up and squinted at the screen for a bit before figuring out they were yours. *facepalm* I like them both a great deal, & I think the lack of capitalization works really well.

I know what you mean about posting poetry being scary and personal, but you shouldn't be embarrassed to post these, because they're really lovely.

I like the ones you picked out, too. That first one is a longtime favorite of mine. My mom and I had a bit of a cry over it at one point.

Ahahahaha, thank you so much. Poetry is such a subjective thing that I'm always really nervous about showing it to people, let alone THE INTERNET. I'm so glad you enjoyed these :D

Oh, wow.

I got nothing coherent to say. Just that weird echo-y feeling I get sometimes when poems just surprise me, and knock me backwards, and say things I maybe already knew but in a way that makes me realize what they mean.

i love the poems you posted but i like your poems more. it's the sort of style i wish i could flaunt effortlessly and you're just so good at it nnngh <3333
