That fic? Was so good. Right from this line in the second paragraph: "Mozzie gets it. Kate tries to get it. That's all he needs."

I loved how careful the con was, how well the story was structured, how Peter was woven through the whole piece (even though he wasn't in it) from the prologue where Neal saw his face instead of an escape to the last part where he imagined it instead of Kate's. A great look at what the three of them must have been like as a team.

Loved it.

I loved this! It's like a casefic, well, except that it's a con-fic (*g*) ...not something I've yet seen much of in this fandom and you did it very well! I liked the rather unhealthy Neal/Kate dynamic here too. YAY PLOTS. And it ends in pre-slash, of which I also heartily approve.

I'm glad the con worked, because, um, that took me a little while to puzzle together. And the Neal/Kate dynamic...I was trying to make her not evil but demonstrate that it's always been a little one-sided, because the canon suggests that.

And some days I don't think I can do anything that isn't at least pre-slash :D

Oh my goodness, I am so in love with your characterization! And I'm really impressed by how well you wrote the con itself and all its details, drawing the maps and preparing everything. And omg, the moment when Neal admits to himself that the whole thing was about Peter. Oh my god. Epic.

Love this! The details of Moz and Kate and Neal working together are so real and funny and true, and the imagery was great too, like the lines of poetry being like water. Love the con too - it really seems like a Caffrey style theft!
