Hi sweet thing - how are the pre-wedding preparations coming along? I am very much looking forward to next weekend! Jim invited my sister and I to crash the rehearsal dinner, so I may see you on Friday night. Lots of love to you and the bethrothed!

I'm pretty calm--you see, if I start to think about things before they happen, I start to freak out. So I have started to try not to think about things. So right now I'm okay, but when I really sit down and try to put it together in my head, I do get a little crazy--I'm not the most social of people, and I know I'll have to spend several hours of intensive socializing and I'm a little afraid of that. There are people I don't know incredibly well at the wedding--friends of the parental units and such--and I do worry about saying or doing something stupid.

I am geeked about seeing a lot of people, though. So many friends and family--I'm very excited about hanging out with you, and the promise of fun social interaction makes the stressful social interaction that much more palatable.

Also, I thought you were bringing only one sister, but Jim has informed me that you are bringing both? Is this true? Not that it's a problem at all, in fact it would be super cool to see all the Booms girls...

Well, I was bringing Katie since she is in Ann Arbor, but since Becky wants to get with her girlies too so she may hop in the car and come along for the wedding. I promise we will all behave :)

My advice is to relax and enjoy the wedding ride. You won't remember the schmoozing much a few weeks afterwards, and there is loot and the ability to talk to the ones you do want to see. :)
