Awww c'mon you can't say you wasted time on Nancy Drew. Annette (Karen) Owen and I read like everyone that existed in elementary school! I think they are still good classic reading material for young kids. Although I never read the Baby-sitter club books thank goodness. At least Nancy Drew had some intrigue and it was a way my mom and I could relate since she read them too when she was little.

I only ever read one Baby-Sitter Club book, and that was because someone gave it too me. My thoughts? "This book is... dumb. It doesn't make sense. If this girl has this problem? Why doesn't she do something about it instead of whine?" I gave it away.

I never read Nancy Drew. I read Hardy Boys. They were more "action oriented". :)

Hardy Boys Ruled. Wasn't there Nancy Drew crossovers though?

yeah there were quite a few of them where the Hardy Boys teamed up with the Nancy Drew girls--I always liked them because I was like ooh BOYS!

BSC (although I thought they were shit even then), Sweet Valley (see before), Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Point Horror.

yeah. I quite want to dig out a point horror and see if they are as bad as I remember.
