A Survey I had a LOT of fun filling out.

1. How did you meet?
We met at a dance. He asked me to swing dance with him and dang he could actually dance. It was really hot. Then later we were slow dancing and we discovered we had a lot in common. He asked me to play Ultimate Frisbee with him the next day, but I declined on account of a previous game night commitment. He said he loved to play games and decided to come to game night with me. I decided to compromise. We played Frisbee in the early afternoon. It turned out we had mutual Frisbee playing friends. Then later we played games.

3. What was the first thought that went through your head when you met?
I get good vibes from him. And he's pretty cute.
4. Do you remember what he/she was wearing?
He was dressed down from a suit. He had his tie off and the sleeves of his dress shirt rolled up.
5. Where was the first time you kissed this person?
We were walking along a lake in the moonlight and he suggested we go for a swim since the water was so warm. When we got in the water we were horseplaying and he caught me in his arms and the moment was so right I kissed him.
6. Where did you go for your first date?
After a few times of hanging out, we decided it was time for a real date. He took me to this mountain he knew and we went hiking. there were lots of streams and we ended up rock hopping. It was tons of fun. He surprised me by having a picnic dinner of baggettes, cheese and teriyaki beef jerky, on this summit with a great view of the sunset. We spent some time looking at the stars, but couldn't see much after the moon came up . Later that night we walked around a lake at the foot of the mountain and went swimming.
7. How long did you know this person before you became a couple?
We met on a Friday at a dance. That next Saturday we played Frisbee and games. Then a week later we had our date. At the end of our date we decided to become a couple. So a week and a day.
8. How did he/she ask you out?
Well, he asked me on our date at game night. There were 6 people there and after a massive game of Risk, we moved on to Rock band and he and I both sat out the song (Tom Sawyer) and he challenged me to a game of Connect 4 having learned it was one of my favorite games. halfway through the game he suggested we make it more interesting.
"How 'bout if I win you go on a date with me next Saturday"
"And if I win?"
"Well of course I'd go on a date with you."
The game was a draw but we went on the date anyway.
9. Has this person ever proposed to you?
No. We both agreed it would be preposterous to make any kind of decision about our future until we've gotten out of the puppy love phase of the relationship. We decided to wait at least 8 months before taking any next steps.
10. Do you and this person have kids together?
No. Because we're not married, we don't have sex.
11. Have you ever broken the law with this person?
Yes. We once illegally downloaded all of the old Dr. Who episodes we could find so we could have a old Dr. Who marathon.
12. When was the first time you realized that you liked this person?
My initial impressions of him told me he had a lot of potential to be liked. He was attractive in a non-preppy kind of way and he looked really nice. All my instincts shouted GEEK. And then when we swing danced together he was quite sexy. I love a man who can dance. But the moment I absolutely knew I like him was when we were slow dancing and he asked me the color of my toothbrush.
13. Do you get along with his/her family?
I really like his younger sister. She's neat and we have a lot in common. I don't get along great with his older sister, but mostly because we have absolutely nothing in common. But we make nice. I sometimes feel his parents don't think I'm good enough for him, but I guess we get along well enough. I like to make jokes and talk history with his dad and I trade recipes and cooking tips with his mom.

15. Do you see her/him as your partner in your future?
For sure. Or I wouldn't be with him, you know?
16. What is the best gift she/he gave you?
For my birthday, he gave me one of the best days ever, on the day before my birthday. He knew I wanted to hang out with my friends all day on my birthday so the day before was our day together. He started by coming over and fixing me breakfast with all the foods I love. Bacon, Sausage links, French Toast sticks and hash browns. Then we played some Soul Caliber while our food settled. Then we went canoeing and ended up swimming in the river. For dinner he told me to dress up fancy. Then he took me to Golden Corral for all you can eat steak. Then we went to a used book store. We ended the day by getting Oreo blizzards from Dairy Queen and walking in the park. We hung out in the park a while I was in for on more surprise. He handed me a package. In it was a change of clothes and my tennis shoes wrapped in a flag. He had gotten our friends together to play capture the flag. We played late into the night. It was a fabulous day to have right before my birthday.
17. What is one thing He/She does that gets on your nerves?
He pairs up my earrings and my socks so I have to work harder to wear mismatched ones
18. Where do you see each other 15 years from now?
Hopefully we'll be married, living in the mountains, and a good way along to having 5 children, our dream jobs and our dream house.
19. What causes the most arguments?
We are both really stubborn and really competitive. sometimes it's hard for us to remember that we're not in competition with each other.
