THE GOLDEN RULE

Buddhism
Hurt not others with that which pains yourself.

Christianity
All things, whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Confucianism

I like the many candles, one flame saying myself. That and there are many paths to "one" truth. I don't usually say the one part because it reminds me of something that isn't as tolerant and plus, I'm not entirely sure whether I believe in absolute truth. I mean, okay, maybe that's the physics of the world, but I haven't seen anything other than relative truth myself.

I think it means that we're supposed to be nice to each other.. How stifling. *sigh* (jk)

I thought it was interesting too. I had heard there were Golden Rules in pretty much every religion, but I hadn't seen the actual wording before.
