The numbers there are wrong, for one. LJ staff say it's 13 lost, mostly in SF, 17 remaining. They've just spent a large amount of money moving the servers out of SF, too.

The insiders don't currently reckon the site will die, but it won't evolve or grow. $30 million was a stupid amount to pay for it, really.
