I think it's a pretty beautiful piece of technology and user interface. Not to mention the reams of useful and fun apps you can download. It's *so* useful not to have to carry an mp3 player and a phone around, and I don't miss calls when I'm listening to music anymore.

The only downside is the keyboard. It takes about a week to get used to using something without buttons, and it takes the iphone a little longer to get used to your mistakes and correct them for you. When it does, it's really quite easy to use.

Oh, and the lack of copy/paste. That is quite annoying, but I would say that's my only long term problem with it.

They've also just released an update which sorts out a couple of issues people have been complaining about.

Spydrman LOVES his iphone.

Really, everyone I know who has one does.

Between the apps available for it (several are exceptionally handy), the ability to cruise the 'net from ANYWHERE, and the deal they have with Pandora so you can stream music (can England use Pandora.com yet>), it's kind of a genius piece in your pocket.

They're ok, I don't own one but a friend does and often has problems with it crashing and being unable to receive calls.

But it is fun and has all sorts of useless yet cute features (koi pond, zippo to wave at concerts without fear of setting someone's hair on fire, very small piano), but I'm not convinced it's the bee's knees everyone goes on about.
