I haven't, either. It's just started to come about in these last 20 years or so, so it's fairly new. I think my favorite emergent church site to visit is church of the apostle, in Seattle, WA. It kind of makes me want to move there. ~_~ I like the idea of being able to discuss theology in a group, rather than sitting there listening to someone expound upon something. I also like the idea of service-as-worship. I've read some very excellent books on the emergent church, too--I particularly enjoyed reading The Relevant Church, which tells the stories of the churches from the pastors' points of view, and Emerging Churches: Creating Christian community in postmodern cultures, which describes culture and emerging churches in the UK and the US. The authors of Emerging Churches studied other cultures, too, but ultimately decided to stick with the UK and the US to help narrow their focus so that their book wouldn't be 800 pages. :) The first one is more narrative in nature, while the second one is more academic.
