ChaLEAN Extreme - Day 1

Today was my official start date for the ChaLEAN Extreme program and I am so excited. I woke up at 6:30 AM and did my workout at 7. Man she isn't kidding, that workout kicked my butt! I cannot believe it's shorter (on time) and harder than the P90X workouts!! WTF?? That tiny woman is lifting 25 lbs and I'm struggling with my 15's. It's a funny ( Read more... )

Wow, sounds like a good start! I am so proud : ) I need to get more exercise again. But I've been so tired lately.

On your tired days try doing just a variety of stretches. Like certain relaxing yoga poses... I find that that helps me a lot!! Let me know if you want or need any suggestions as far as these poses are concerned.

I've lost 8 lbs so far Shanti!! I am so excited!! I don't ever want a single pound of it back!!

You are so right! For a short period, like two months or something last year, I was doing stretches twice a day. In the morning and in the evening. And it felt so good. Just regular stretches like before and after you do a work-out. For your muscles. But I stopped doing that. But now that you mentioned it, I immediately did it again. About four minutes. But it felt good! I did some slow dancing movements after that as well (while listening to music). And I am so much more relaxed right now.

That's wonderful Ajoké! Keep the good work going. You are inspiring me to hit the home bicycle tomorrow morning : )
