Couple thoughts...

I've been working in my job for over 3 years now. Yesterday was the first time I've actually done 'computer science' in my job. I had to prove that a solution regarding set manipulation stuff, dynamic evaluation definitions and time-based evaluations was correct. Hey I put my college education to good use I help make something that killed people :P or at least aided in there destruction. And I helped build a better motor and parts that saved peoples lives (parts for world heart) and made things that store radioactive waste!

I made these two foot long quarter inch diameter hollow tubes that were laser ingraved with part numbers and batch numbers. They were designed to hold nuclear waste so scientists could store samples from their reactors. beyond that I have no clue what else they were used for.
