Running Dry

We had our first two ulti games last night! I'm very proud of the team this year... We lost a closely contested first game (8-10) and won the second game easilly (13-7). The play style wasn't pretty - we were playing man all night and our stack was sloppy at best. The sad part is that the new players did it right. It was our older, more experienced ( Read more... )

Energy gels, sport beans, shot blocks!!!! thoes are what you need on game day to keep you going. I know you love to cycle but honestly swim if you want a good cardio that's not running. that's my 2 cents.

I'd bet the sleepyness on food as well. I know when I was playing rugby in highschool, if I skipped either breakfast or lunch on a practice or game day, I'd get home and sleep a couple hours before dinner.

Swimming's also a good cardio, but it's still something to take easy at first, different muscles and all in the kicks.
