Heh. I talked with Sabrina some more on Sat night. Apparently she was in the booth with the time keeper standing behind him looking down the rope that marks the finish line and that he was calling things arbitrarilly. He'd beep some boats (lane 4 in particular) way before they crossed the rope, others long after. They have the rope there for a bloody reason and he wasn't even using it!
