I finally pulled my bike out this evening and sat down to fix it up. It was in relatively good shape. Some air in the tires, some break adjusting and it would have been good enough to ride. Just when I was about to flip it over, I gave the wheels a spin and noticed that the back tire had a bit of a wobble... still good enough to ride, but not quite ( Read more... )

Well that's almost as bad as my bike this spring.

Pull it out and realise that I forgot to oil the chain befor I put it away, so that is now a pile of rust. I also have to replace my rear derailer as I demolished it right at the begining of winter last year, as in I have no idea where one of the sprockets for it is.

So now I get to walk it to King St. bus it to the bike shop.

yeah, my chain is a bit rusty too... still worked though and hadn't ceased, so I was planning on running with it. Good luck.

I have to ride, its a budgeting mechanism: either pay $5 twice a week to go to/from rowing, or ride my bike. ;)
