Book #7 -- Steve Berman, ed., Magic in the Mirrorstone, 293 pages.
A collection of fantasy short stories, most of which were really quite good. I got it from ALA because Holly Black has a story in it and was there signing, as was Gregory Frost who also had a story in the collection. The editor and several other contributors had apparently signed the books before they left for Philly so it's quite scribbled on.
Book #8 -- Marco Conelli, Matthew Livingston and the Prison of Souls, 95 pages.
A YA mystery along the lines of Encyclopedia Brown. It's a bit over-the-top and could use some editing, but it's not too bad for a first effort.
Progress toward goals: 17/366 = 4.6%
Books: 8/150 = 5.3%
Pages: 2110/50000 = 4.2%
