Róisín is sick. Very sick. I found her this morning attempting to go back under the couch and at first I thought it was was one of the kittens, she was so small. By the time I got to her she had started seizing, and she had a seizure every few minutes or so all the way to the vet's. She looks like she hasn't eaten in a week. I hadn't seen her

Don't beat yourself up, babe..sometimes animals are going to do their own thing, even when it comes to their health. We can't always keep them healthy and safe. *hug* I'll keep a good thought for the best outcome for both of you.

God, I'm sorry. I hope she pulls through.

And please don't be so hard on yourself. You've done all you can with all of the cats you've rescued, including her. You've "done good," more than pretty much anyone else I know.

It's not your fault. It's not. Please, please, don't blame yourself. Cats are like that sometimes, and there's not much we can do about it. You've taken her to the vet right away -- you're being a good mom. And I hope she pulls through!!

Oh, that's awful. She's in my thoughts and prayers.

And while I know it's pretty impssible- don't blamne yourself. You took her in when her behavior changed- and she seemed fine. I probably would have done the same thing. And I still feel terrible about the cat we had who died of asthma/bronchitis, because the asthma wasn't diagnosed soon enough- even though I had discussed the symptoms with the vet and he seemed OK then. Sigh.

I hope she'll be okay. But don't blame yourself. It's too easy to look back and think you should've seen things sooner, that it was so obvious, how could you miss it? But that's not true! It's normal to do it -- I've done it to myself in the past when my boys have been sick -- but in the context you are seeing things now, it's not fair to yourself to think you should've realized something was going on.
