One of the sadest songs I know. I just hate that most people have no idea what it's about or confuse it with "Waltzing Matilda."

Now I wish I had a recording of it.

I play this for my students when we talk about World War I. It is a very sad and powerful song, and sadly most people don't know the sacrifice that Austraila and New Zealand made for the British during the war. It always seems to be left out of the history books.
