So I just watched the Cold Case episode from 10/26 and while it was a *very* good episode, my enjoyment of it was hindered throughout by one thing -- by my understanding, the Philly PD should never have been investigating the case at all!

The case involved the discovery of the remains of a US Marine murdered in 1951. Now, I also watch NCIS, and

I saw that episode too and was bothered by that and was half expecting a crossover show involving NCIS.

This phenomenon happens to me all the time ... Mostly with law enforcement and military-themed shows. But even with some shows that have nothing to do with these topics. Anytime there is a stunt involving some 90-pound female actor with no muscle tone "beating up" a male actor, I laugh my ass off.
