Book #98 -- Holly Black and Ted Naifeh, The Good Neighbours: Book One -- Kin, 117 pages.

A graphic novel about the dark side of faerie. When Rue's mother disappears after a fight and Rue's father is accused of murdering her as well as a student at the college where he works, her life is turned upside down. But rebellious Rue refuses to believe her father's guilty, especially since she's been seeing some odd things lately that may be related to the student's death. And when Rue's mother unexpectedly shows up alive, will she bring with her answers, or only more questions?

Very good and addictive, which sucks, because this is an advanced copy and the first book isn't even being released until sometime in October, which means I'll have to wait forever for it to be continued.

Book #99 -- Gerry Feehily, fever, 117 pages.

A stream-of-consciousness coming-of-age tale of a young man growing up in Dundrug, Ireland, and his search for meaning, love, and the answer to The Troubles. Very literary, and not bad, but the style annoyed me after awhile. Awfully depressing too.
