Book #89 -- Neil Gaiman, The Sandman, Vol 8: Worlds' End, 163 pages.
Wow . . . This was a brilliant arc. I love the whole Canterbury Tales-esqueness of it, and the way that little details in the otherwise unrelated stories fit into the overall plot. And the procession at the end . . . damn that was chilling. I actually do know what it's about, it's far too late for me to expect not to have been spoiled, and I imagine the chills would have been even greater if that had been my first inkling of what was going to happen (am I being vague enough? *g*). And Death! Oh I just wanted to give her a big hug.
Yup, definitely a good one :)
