*offers you a great big hug* Death is one of those things that just sucks to deal with, no matter how you look at it. You never really forget about the people you lose, either- in two weeks it'll be ten years since a boy I knew died of brain cancer, and I still tend to remember him a lot at this time of year. I try not to think about the what-ifs too much, but I almost always end up writing about cancer or sickness or loss at least once during February.

I don't know what else to say- I really suck at this whole comfort thing, especially when it's just written words. But you can deal with this. You are capable. Let yourself grieve however you have to, and don't be afraid to ask for lots and lots of hugs, and do what you need to just keep going. *hugs you again*

Thank you. I know it's just words but words can help more than other things sometimes.

Kids (and even younger adults) just shouldn't have to die. There's something immeasurably awful in losing a life that hasn't been lived yet. I'm not grieving so much just for Heath, but for the loss of everyone else like him as well- People who just didn't need to die yet.
