“Are you cold?”
“No” I replied Yuto with my obvious lie. It was winter and there was no denying that the temperature was colder than what I can manage.
“You’re lying” he said as he took off his coat and wrapped it around me. “Hold it so that it won’t fall”
“I’m fine.” I replied as I tried to give back the coat he lent me but his arms wouldn’t let me. “Women have more fat in their bodies anyways so men are more susceptible to cold - which means, if I am cold, you are freezing.”
“You? Fat? I don’t think so” he chuckled.
“Look who’s talking, a curtain rod?” I replied with a scorn face but was quickly changed when I saw Yuto’s face fell from his grin.
“You know what, even if that is true, you are going to keep that coat.” Yuto’s expression turned serious. “I’d rather freeze than see the one I love be cold.”
“Silly.” I smiled at that statement before I hang the coat around his shoulders and put his arms around me. “I would be warmer if you just hug me.” And so he did.
