I haven't been around much the last few days, for various reasons. G. and I spent the weekend on the peninsula hiking (and having a marvelous dinner in Port Angeles at Sabai Thai, which I highly recommend if you're ever, you know, in Port Angeles

Oh, I'm glad that he's improving! My big Zippo is turning twelve next month and I love him fiercely, so I get where you're coming from.

As I was typing this, Maggie (the kitty in the icon) walked over, meowed, and jumped in my lap for some loves.

He's sleeping peacefully on the floor next to my chair right now!

Aw, I have a black kitty too! She's currently sulking, though, because she thinks (going by scent, apparently) that I've brought home some new interloping kitty rather than her old friend. :)

Oh yes, I've heard that can happen. My cats always smell like the vet's office for about a day after they've been.

Thanks -- he's very glad to be home. (Though he looks a little odd, with matching shaved areas on both right legs, like a demented cat-half-poodle.)
