I'm bored with it, mostly. (It usually doesn't hurt, but I'm trapped in the house and B. has to help with everything, which makes me feel like a lump.)

And yes, to all you've said about the grimness and violence of the show, and to its appeal nonetheless. I love Alice Morgan. Her mouth is hypnotic.

I really want to start it and I found some perfect songs to choose from...but my hard drive is gone, and I have to see how the new one will work...it's really thrown me for a loop and I'm kinda depressed about everything i lost.

I wonder if they knew, when they were making the first season, what an amazing find they had with Ruth Wilson/Alice?
