The mad race toward adoption was vivid and exciting and I have to love Gwen for getting her paws dirty to get away from Morgana. Morgana was an underhanded witch and I'm sorry she saw any inheritance at all. Oh, well, it was all in the hands of the lawyers.

Arthur and Merlin continue to be delightful and it was a great twist that Merlin is now the proud owner of Gwen. He got the guy and the cat of his dreams. Well, I guess Gwen really won the best servants she could have wished for - it all depends on who's telling the story!

I love this: Making people happy… that seemed like an important enough job for a cat. It's a well loved cat's only job and they do it really, really well.

Seriously though - your wonderful sense of place (so many Boston feels!), charming dialogue (hoorah for double entendres!) and characterizations take this beyond wacky and adorable into the truly memorable - something I plan to reread on a rainy day when I need cheering.

Also, Arthur & Merlin's adventures on the T = genius thing I could read about forever. I'll never look at an MBTA map the same...

This was just too adorable. Being a cat lover myself I found this story even more enthralling.

I loved the dynamic of Arthur being Gwen's owner and Merlin's love for her before having met Arthur. That he had wished to meet Gwen's owner and had unknowingly been attracted to him without knowing it was actually him in the first place was just lovely.

Arthur buying those tickets to spend time with Merlin and not wanting their first kiss to be in front of all of those people was sort of adorable of him.
