What amazed me was the guy who committed these heinous crimes was sent to prison originally for killing and cutting up his 93 yesar old grandmother and instead of getting life, he got let out of prison after 18 years. 18 years for doing what he did. Shit, drug dealers get more time than that. And look at the results when he got out. He goes berserk, kills people, probably killed his sister as she's unaccounted for, and caused misery for those who lost their homes not to mention the misery of the families of the two firemen he killed.

This is why I think we should be reserving prison for people who do harm to others instead of poor bastards caught with a few spliffs.
