* Herman Cain and mitt Romney are neck and neck at the top of the polls. Perry is a strong third. Bachmann is failing at fund raising and had to let a lot of her staff go. For my readers abroad, Republican primaries start in January and go state by state into spring. This part of the race is about fundraising and weeding out the weak candidates
