You can read the short version of this without clicking on "read more..."

"A Concurrent resolution stating legislative findings and commending Jared and Jersusha Hess and the City of Preston for the Production of the movie 'Napoleon Dynamite'."

I have not yet seen this movie, and honestly I'm a little reluctant to do so. You see, I love nerds, and I don't appreciate the way they are often portrayed in film/tv. I have a feeling that instead of "Napoleon Dynamite" being a story about the sad persecution of a suburban nerd, it instead uses the nerd as an object of ridicule. But as I said, I haven't seen the film so I really have no right to have an opinion about it.

If anyone is getting made of in this film, its the residents of rural America. I think it's worth a watch just to see a movie that's popular that has neither sex nor swearing in it. That's amazing in and of itself.

but as the resolutions says,

you're a "FREAKIN IDIOT!" if you don't go along with it. i, of course do, although i would agree that they might have a lot of time on their hands to propose something like this, as true as it might all be.
