10A fuse + 2000W electric kettle = bad idea

I love this flat. It's small, cosy and cheap and it's close to town and close to my parents. However, it's also cold in winter and the entire flat runs on one 10 ampere fuse. That's 2300 watts if the power company delivers the voltage they promise, and given that my computer runs on a 350W power supply, and my kettle use 2000W, I have to turn ( Read more... )

you just need to figure out how to run the heat sinks from your computer to under the kettle ;)

Hmm.. I have an USB cup-heater, although it might be a bit too puny. It won't even keep a cup of coffee hot.

Write a letter to Santa or switch with your neighbors when they are not watching?
