here are my 10 other favorite things beginning with the letter 'g'. 1. gary coleman 2. gregarian monks, but not their infernal chanting 3. giant things in small towns (ie. the world's biggest ball of twine, etc.) 4. gordon gecko. 5. grizzly bear the band. 6. grissly bear the animal. 7. galaxie 500 the band. 8. galaxie 500 the car. 9. gumption, & the act of having some. 10. guaranteeing victories before sporting matches, as in WE ARE GOING TO DESTROY PHART on sunday.
I make fantastic guacamole, being the Mexitaligarian that I am (my lil bro's word, which signifies our Mexican-Italian, Hungarian background).
The key is garlic and lime juice. Toss in pressed garlic along with lime juice, diced onion (very finely diced, I say ick to big pieces), diced tomatoes (strained and seeded, or else it'll get runny because of the liquid from the lime juice), and cilantro if you really like spice. I like to add in some hot peppers for flavoring, but mild guac is fab, too. Also, I like to make my guac such that it isn't all the way mushed...those chunks of unmushed guac sometimes surface and it's like unexpected presents.
