Huun-Huur-Tu are a fabby Tuvan throat singing band :oD

I got into them hrough discovering Yat-Kha who are another Tuvan throat singing band, but they're more grungy rocky.

Huun-Huur-Tu did the best album ever, and it was filled with remixes of their more traditional songs by a Russian (I think) DJ called Malerija. And it rocked!

Xose Manuel Budino is a Galician piper.

I saw him when he was supporting Martyn Bennett at a gig in Glasgow once.

Now I'm a die hard MB fan and he never failed to put on an amazing gig. However, on this occasion he was, um, kind of blown out the water by Xose.

Scarily shit on record but live he's just brilliant.

He's like the antithesis of Carlos Nunez who's plays his pipes more in an almost classical vein. Xose just wants to be a bit more poppy and rocky I think :o)

Oh and he's quite cute ;o)
