Obviously, I'm playing with the layout right now. I can assure you that the current one is NOT permenant (in that... it's hideous) and I should have something non-eye-melting up in the next few hours.

Also, anybody up for some kind of fic challenge? This comm is getting quiet and it might be good to get things going again - might also be good to ( Read more... )

A fic challenge would be fun, I think. XD I can't get enough gwen, morgana, and gwen/morgana fic lately, and I've just discovered this community so I definitely don't want it to get too slow!

Mine's pretty full two (four challenge fics and a bunch of other unfinishes ones on my harddrive - plus, you know, actual real life stuff for uni...) but I think perhaps in the middle of next month I'll set something up.

oooh, nice. i was wondering about the wonkyness earlier when commenting to other posts.

i'd be up for a fic challenge since i only seem to write for those... i've been thinking of some crazy modern AU ideas. (Gwen as a Law & Ethics and Art & Design double major in undergrad and Morgana in medical school and taking her first medical ethics course and annoyed? The girls are in the air force and Morgana is in the Stargate program and is about to go off to Atlantis? Morgana is on a medical relief team to some impoverished country and Gwen is working for PeaceCorps?) and i know i won't write any of them unless people make me...

And OMG! A modern AU fic challenge! THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME! (I love writing those things. ^_^) Might have to do that... I'm thinking I'm gonna run two challenges - just short ones - a couple of weeks apart. One for female characters who are NOT Gwen and Morgana; and one for modern AUs featuring any/all of our ladies. Fun times! ^_^

yay! someone who doesn't think my AU ideas are too much crack! why not just one big challenge of all the ladies with any type of fic, AU or otherwise? does it work better if there's a specific theme? *inexperienced*

I think it would be less complicated and more likely to garner results if the challenges were kept seperate. The type of fics each one would require are just so different, and we probably wont get a huge number of people participating in either, so we'll get more, better written fic if there are two challenges where everyone participates as opposed to one bigger challenge where people pick and choose which genre, theme, character etc. I would suspect, for instance, in a situation where people can choose to write about Morgana or Hunith, people are going to choose Morgana. Which is not helpful if I want to encourage people to write more of the less-explored female characters on the show.
