IPOD

Oct 05, 2005 20:14

So I really want an IPOD. I have refused technological advances for a while.....but now I think I need to invest in this little critter. They're so small and cute, and I could feasibly fit my entire music collection on one. Any suggestions as to which model I should get? I know very little of the IPOD and need to learn of its ways and prices ( Read more... )

Since no one else answered the question, because I am a size queen and want a full size of EVERYTHING, I say the full size. You can hold a bajillion songs, and you can even put pictures and movies on some of the new ones.

I have no good things to say about the Nano because it makes my Mini out dated. However, if you feel you only need a 1,000 songs on your person at all times (which happens to be a lot more music then most would realize), no movies, no pictures, the Nano is a perfect model. It's also cheaper.

So, I guess the important question is what do you see yourself spending on this thing?

See that's half the problem, I haven't even priced these things yet. I'm VERY cheap....so $200 would be the ultimate I would pay and it would have to be one hell of a toy. I don't even know how many songs I have.....maybe 300 on my computer and numerous more on CDs that have yet to be tapped.

Well, everyone else covered the toy part pretty well so I'll hit the music part. I recently downloaded the Psychadelic Furs song Love My Way and I can pretty much listen to it over and over again.

I've been on a huge 80's synth-pop thing here lately, so that's the best I've got.

See Ian, I've been on that kick for a while....at least a few years. I just listen to The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran all the time. Another good one is Tears for Fears.
