Points north

There's a place on I-95 where five lanes of highway divide. Two lanes veer left towards Newington and Dover New Hampshire. Three lanes point straight to Maine with three bold arrows to all points north. This sign is on a rise and it always seems inspirational to head straight up the hill. I choose north! Yeah, sometimes when I get back from business travel and leave the Jetport, I get stuck in rush-minute.

It is a sunny Saturday, warm enough for shirtsleeves. We went down to the beach at low tide and saw... No one. The beach was empty. We didn't even have to leash the dog for the walk back to the cottage. This place is empty on a beautiful Saturday. Ahhhhh.

I know exactly the place you mean and I cannot wait to cross it. It might be dark when we do so in June but the meaning will be the same. :).
