Rather? I was not being political. Just observant. There is some idealistic lazy thinking that guns kill people and without access to guns violent crazy bad guys (or political insurgents) would be toothless. Nope, now they are anonymous, go uncaught, and terrorize everyone thinking about throwing away some trash.

I was thinking more about Sandy Hook or the guy shooting up the Batman theater.

They injure fewer, although kill more outright. And then they get stopped or caught.

So, yeah, I guess I would rather have a live shooter than an indiscriminate bomb. Maybe the live shooter would refrain from aiming at the eight year old. And bullets rarely require double amputation.
