Luck so lucky I forgot to thank my lucky stars

My eldest child has a double major and won't have enough credits in one of them because of the year she spent in China.  So she's spending an extra semester at college.

Her scholarship, however, was for four years, not four and a half.  So that last semester is on us.

Last night we were filling out the financial aid application and it hit me anew:

It would be hubris to think so. My middle child takes the same genetic mix and same parent values and takes it in a different direction.

My children are as G*d made them. Nature had far more to do with it than any particular nuturing skills.

But it *is* fun and rewarding to have high-functioning children. :-)
