Eating locally in March

My cleaning lady is an older lady from Moldova who speaks very little English.  She was in the kitchen with me yesterday while I was putting a stew together in the crock pot.

Maybe not. It was challenging to eat it, because the tiny little rabbit bones all mixed in with the veggies and I ended up having to spit out ribs and spine into a napkin as I ate. It looked like owl throw-up when we were done eating!

Not a company dish. :-)

But we served it on egg noodles with some added salt and pepper and it tasted just fine.

That's the lovely danger of crock potting any small animals. It makes the meat so tender.
Did your cleaning lady's mother use a crock pot, too? ;)
