Hello from the pandemic

Wow, it's weird out here. My head is spinning trying to figure out all the implications. Honestly, I think there are a lot of *good* things going to result from this, but of my eight elders (D & E, K, L & M, F & R, D) I think it's likely one or more of them won't be alive in six weeks. That is the absolute worst part, and it's hard to see past that

Yeah, the fact that it's payday is making the panic buying that much worse.

Is there an active case in your town or is this a quarantine of caution? A couple of counties in CA have told people to stop quarantine without symptoms. It'll be interesting to see how things shake out under that guidance.

Our county was in Stupid Panic a week ago. I'm wondering when/if they shift to Strategic/Purposeful Panic.

Hey thanks for this. You saw M's post canceling his events? I gave him until noon yesterday or threatened to go online and do it myself. Spousal blackmail is a public health measure right now.

What's your intel on the municipal meeting? I've got intel on our local hospital tl/dr it's basically what happened west of us. I wish we had time to chat about this. *waving at you*
