Roomba for the win

After several years of use, my Roomba 770 bit the dust (as it were.) I just got my new Roomba 890 in the mail. I quickly plugged it in (to the old existing dock) and turned it on. It spoke a few words to me and then got to work

I was *just* thinking about you & this the other day & meant to text you to see if you still loved it. We love having the local women come clean every other week -- but really our place is so small if I could have a machine do the sweeping and mopping I hate, especially under Gil's bed to control the dust and air quality for him in there, we really could manage the rest. & that would save us quite a bit of money... we only have pergo floors, no carpet. How does it do on the non-carpet surfaces?

I wish they'd come up with a design that doesn't bash into furniture. It "slows down" but still hits.
