Hahaha, the first thing I noticed was the rug! All my rugs are Pakistani (I think) and I probably paid less for them in Bahrain than you would in the US. It is beautiful! How big is it? Does it feel good on your feet? A great rug is pleasing to the eye and the feet.

Congratulations on your rug! I'm hoping to buy my first 'real' one in either Jerusalem or Cairo this year. No lie, my mother and I once stopped into an oriental rug store on a whim and walked out with 2 silk rugs and a car. -- sadly, I only got to keep the car, and know that I will never, ever top that for impulse shopping! ;)
