WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!

I don't understand this at all. How can they not give the homeowner a chance to deal with the "problem" herself?!

I don't know. It occurred to me that it might be a vandal or someone stealing the fruit. I decided to put in a police report but called the DPW first in case it was them.

It's really upsetting. I've been growing and training those vines for 10 years and was about to get the first big crop.

I am really sorry. I got upset when someone helpfully "weeded" a glorious volunteer petunia growing in a crack in my driveway, and I would be apoplectic over this. I almost hope it was a vandal because at least I expect them to be inconsiderate assholes.

OMG. Your kiwis!!!! This is so, so sad. Is there fruit on the other side of the trellis? Did the cutting destroy much of the structure of the vines? I would be so angry. I'm so sorry this happened!
