You might try the "call forward" feature on your office phone. When you go to the island, forward all the calls to a office phone there, when you get back, reverse. Odds are your clients will not even notice. To them, the phone just rings and you answer.
Outgoing calls will have the island number displayed on the client's caller ID, but getting a call they want or need will overcome the momentary confusion on their part.

They offered a monitor that was essentially a screen that was as flat as a laptop and plugged in via USB - no other external power source required.
I tested it out during a few trips, and loved it.
It wasn't huge, but for traveling it got the job done.
