Twitter annoys the shit out of me.

Therefore, please don't be offended if I remove you from my friends list.

I just don't want to read every miniscule detail about your day in statement form.

I simply prefer reading about important things in peoples lives in story form.

I actually think twitter has its place, but its place is on twitter. Then again, I can't use the net 8am - 7pm, so my exposure is somewhat limited.

I'm turning into a kind of purist. I want your lj on lj, your facebook on facebook, your tweets on twitter. I don't want to see everything reposted in every forum so I end up seeing it all six times over. I will find it if I want to.

Agreed. They all have their place. Though I think Twitter is redundant if you have facebook statuses.

Can see your point, except that twitter is great at doing what it does, and i hate facebook with its continual self-indulgent layout changes, each one worse than the last (perhaps it's a social experiment).
