SO I HAVEN'T EVEN READ THIS CHAPTER YET, BUUUUUT BEFORE I GOT ALL CAUGHT UP IN THE ACTION/ DRAMZ/ HEARTBREAKING/ CHEERING WHATEVER YOU HAVE IN STORE, I WANTED TO EXPRESS MY APPRECIATION (PROBABLY (IN CAPSLOCK) FOR THE RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF EFFORT AND TIME YOU PUT INTO THIS. PROBABLY GRATITUDE IS A BETTER WORD HERE BC I CAN'T EVEN WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT, WITH ALL THE AHMAZING DETAILS AND MOTIFS AND THEMES.

So this ended up with capslock as default with moments of ~ascended losercase~ bc I needed something for emphasis where capslock would normally suffice.

Dude. DUDE. Gillian! Henri. Cal. Nightmares. Healing. PT. Emily. YES. ALSO, NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR THE LENGTH. I AM ONE OF THOSE CRAZY FREAKS THAT LOVE EXTREMELY LONG CHAPTERS. Which is why I am such a fan of this. I love long chapters with all these details. AND I'M EXCITED FOR THE EPILOGUE. YAY.

I love that Gillian and Henri cleared the air. I love that Cal only visited once. In fact, I love when Gillian interacted with Cal just to pretty much pwn him. When she said it's Gillian I cheered so hard. I love the new contract idea and re-evaluating her life. That's so perfect. Eveyone re-evaluates after a while, especially after a traumatic event like hers and I like that she's taking it slowly and carefully but not completely cutting Cal out of her life. I love the SHOEBOX! THE SHOEBOX! ;ALKSDJFA;LKDS YES. I love that Emily stopped by and they went over the adventures. LOVE that scene so much. I love at the end how she booked that flight based off of what Emily told her. Very nice. I totally smiled at the end ( ... )

MY WHOLE THING IS THAT FOLLOWING AN EVENT LIKE THIS, GILLIAN WOULDN'T FALL INTO CAL'S LAP. SHAME ON THOSE WHO ACTUALLY THINK SHE WOULD. OF COURSE SHE STILL WANTS HIM IN HER LIFE, BUT HE DOESN'T GET TO BE WHAT HE ONCE WAS. THAT'S NOT FAIR. YAY THE SHOEBOX. Emily + Gillian = love.

Cal is an idiot, isn't he. Poor guy.

Oh. Ohh. That's perfect. I know there's an epilogue, but for now I have to say that this is the perfect ending to one of the greatest fics I'v ever read. I love that everything doesn't fix itself up instantly, and actually takes time to fall into place. And I really love Gillian going to Buenos Aires alone. Thank you for this wonderful story!

So I read this chapter again just to remember where things were before the epilogue and there are tears running down my face and omw you are amazing i love you. I want this made into a tv movie and also sold on the shelves of my local bookstore. Also I want to reread it and comment on everything. I have a lot of wants.
