"Heidi, take a message. I've got… an urgent meeting to attend."
Cal grabbed a magazine and headed to the men's room.
This sent me into hysterics! I couldn't stop laughing. I actually had to take a break and get a cup of tea before I could read more. It's CLASSIC! *wipes tears from still streaming eyes and rubs belly sore from laughing until exhaustion* AND:
"I don't understand this constant… cheerfulness. Is it a show, or are you just naturally kind to everyone?"
This line rang so bloody true if you pardon my Cal impression. It is very indicitive of who she is and where she comes from as a human being. She's so level, so calm, so happy. Secret: I wanna be her when I grow up.

I'm glad I made you have a gigglefit. Goodtimes. Cal would totally do that too. Mark my words.
SEKRIT: THIS ENTIRE FANDOM WANTS TO BE GILLIAN FOSTER WHEN IT GROWS UP. She really is calm and level and happy. People like her, I've met. They tend to be oddly well-adjusted, despite what life has thrown at them. They just handle epic things better than others. Odd, that. But it happens.
Thank you for reading/commenting/laughing. :)

I'm excited to see how this case works out. I'm eagerly awaiting the next part. Hee. ♥

I like the last scene a lot. Then I realized that Cal feeds her in pretty much every chap of this story. He takes care of his girl, whether she knows it or not. Trying to make this a more mutualistic relationship rather than the one we see on the show :)
THANKS FOR COMMENTING FRIEND!!!

Funny, I thought you qualified.
He liked making her happy. Awwwww. Heart=warmed. If they don't end up someday, somehow being that happy family from the Thanksgiving episode, I'm going to be terribly disappointed in this show.
I MISS MY GIRL HEIDI.
She needed to keep her distance. Had to.
"I'm not making any promises."
"How could I forget? You hate making those."
Oh, GILLIAN. I'm so upset that you can't trust people and let them in. Please spend some more time with Cal. And then go be a family.
Oh, for goodness sake. I love this. IDEK why, but I do. So incredibly much.
It was made out of tofu and far healthier than it had any reason to be, but that was his and the chef's secret. AHAHAHA. I laughed quite loudly.
I like this chapter, even if nothing HAPPENED happened. It gave me a better feel for relationships and who people are. And are not.

I have a feeling your last line there was referring to dear Henri. Just you wait, jussssttttt yoooouuuuu wait.
You know why you love it!?!?! Because it's awesome. jk. But I know why... bc you haven't figured it out yet and there's more you want to dissect, but haven't gotten around to yet. THAT's why.
I MISS HEIDI TOO. That is why she's here. Though, I did enjoy Anna last week. I'll put Heidi and Anna in a scene together soon. Hmmm.
ITA about the happy thanksgiving family. IT KILLS ME SO MUCH when I see all three of them together, how perfect they'd be, and then... poof it doesn't happen. WOE.
Once again, much gratitude for commenting and giving me thinkythoughts!!!

and actually...I didn't mean Henri. At least I don't think so. For better or worse, young!Henri still hovers between genuine-charmer-I-need-to-guard-my-heart-against and cad-I-will-beat-down in my book.

Heh, I love concentrated awesome. Pleased to be of service to you:)
Yeah I dunno if she'd really say that "oh for goodness sake", but I do and it happened by accident? Oh well.
