I'm pretty proud of how they turned out this year. The one on the left is my dad's, and the one on the right is mine. Weinstein's a bit difficult for me to watch--I normally like deadpan, but he just sounds slightly vague and uninterested. Kevin clearly has a lot more fun being Servo. And you're right--Larry and Dr. Forrester didn't bounce off each other as well as Dr. F and Frank ( ... )

You're totally right about Weinstein sounding vague and uninterested.

And yeah, I'm with you on the serials. There were some quips that banked on the viewer having seem previous installments. One of my favorite eps has a short, though: Home Economics/Viking women vs. the Sea Serpent. "Boy, that Home Ec film sure took a weird turn somewhere!"

Robot Monster I think had a fairly decent premise, as '50s sci-fi flicks go. The execution, on the other hand... "I must, but I cannot! I cannot, but I must!"

I do love me the shorts, so I won't complain--it's more his general rule than something hard and fast.

Actually, a lot of the movies have a somewhat intriguing premise, but fail at the execution. (I always thought the dilemma in The Undead was interesting.)

Have you seen any of the KTMA episodes? They are weird in so many ways ...

Nah, I haven't downloaded season 0 yet. IT's ad-libbed and the bots are different, right?

I'm still working on getting season 3.
